India Launches Ambitious National Highway Expansion Project Across 10 States
The government has approved a massive highway expansion project covering 10 states to boost connectivity and trade.
The Union Minister for Road Transport announced a Rs 2 lakh crore national highway expansion project that will connect remote districts across 10 states. The project aims to build 25,000 km of new highways over the next 5 years.
This initiative is expected to create over 3 lakh jobs and significantly reduce travel time between major cities.
